Ladybug and I went shopping for her wedding gown! She was a trooper and tried on numerous gowns at two different stores. Anyone who knows Ladybug knows this is a big feat. She hates to shop! She especially hates to try on clothing! But, when everything is soooo beautiful, it becomes kinda fun.
We discovered that an ivory color works better than white on Ladybug's skin tone. She settled on a beautiful, sheath style gown, which looked stunning on her. We wanted to add a little cap sleeve and possibly make it a high/low gown so she could easily dance in it. However, the alterations were going to cost as much as the gown! The gown was in our specified budget, but not the alterations! But we do not give up easily.
We found a beautiful gown through ebay-of all places-and it is being custom made to Ladybug's measurements! You can't do better than that! Especially when you are so short. And the total cost is less than $200! Awwww--You go girl!!
